Hi, Iβm Marina, the creator behind Aroidplants for you.
My plant journey began in December 2025 while I was recovering from shoulder surgery. At the time, I had an Alocasia Silver Dragon that I absolutely loved. I started spending more time in online plant communities, where I met so many wonderful people and quickly discovered a whole new world of plants.
Before I knew it, I was bringing home tiny baby plants and watching my collection grow.
What started with one beloved Alocasia soon turned into a true passion. Today, my collection includes more than 100 different Alocasias, along with Monsteras, Begonias and many other beautiful plants.
From plants to 3D printing
As my collection grew, so did my need for pots. I soon realized that finding the kind of pots I wanted wasnβt always easy. They could be expensive, difficult to find, or take a long time to arrive.
Iβve always loved creating things. Before discovering 3D printing, I spent many years crocheting and making things by hand. So instead of continuing to search for the perfect pots, I decided to start designing my own.
I wanted pots that were not only beautiful, but also functional β with self-watering solutions, good airflow and designs made with healthy roots in mind.
At first, a friend helped me print my designs. But as more ideas started coming, I quickly realized that I wanted to be able to bring them to life myself.
So I bought my first 3D printer β and that opened up a completely new creative world.
A passion project that keeps growing
Today, I work with a larger 3D printer, and my collection of pots, propagation accessories and other designs continues to grow and evolve.
What started with creating solutions for my plants has also grown into a wider love for 3D printing and design. Today, I create a growing range of home dΓ©cor and decorative pieces, allowing me to explore new ideas beyond the plant world.
Many of the products youβll find here are designed by me, often inspired by an idea, request or problem from another plant lover or customer. Turning an idea into something real, useful and unique is still one of my favorite parts of what I do.
You will also find selected designs created by other talented designers, which I print and offer with permission to sell. Whenever a design is not my own creation, this will be clearly stated in the product description and the original designer will be credited where applicable.
Everything is 3D printed by me in Sweden, whether it is one of my own creations or a carefully selected design from another creator.
Aroidplants for you is still a small passion project β one that started with a single Alocasia and has now grown into a creative space for plants, 3D printing and unique designs for the home.
